Facelifting Indianapolis
The signs that someone has had a face are easy to identify in public or in your neighborhood. These patients facially look strange or different after surgery. This concern is something that appears in almost all the lifting consultation. What creates that 'operated' look is nearly the same in most patients. The face seems too close, pulled back, and abnormal. In its most severe form, a real line can be seen from a corner of the mouth back of the ear. (known as the jolly line) This is the result that most people fear. As a plastic surgeon who does the operation, I control the outcome. Is usually the result of pulling back the skin too much and trying to work every imperfection. The management of patient expectations will be essential in avoiding this problem. A facelift will do nothing for the area of the mouth, such as the lifting of the corners or flattening the creases between the lips and cheeks. (nasolabial folds) When you press the renewal of creating change in this area, the attraction is too strong and too much skin is removed. If a patient wants to improve in this area and lift with other procedures that directly address these problems have to do. Improving the area around the mouth is something that many patients expect and are considering the procedure for underging just that … this is an error and a series of disappointments. To put in perspective, it's much better not to have a clear result in the face with a few lines and wrinkles of the waste that seems perfectly smooth skin of your face is in a wind tunnel! Even if you do not want a plastic surgeon for the patient to be disappointed (or listen to the complaints of this after surgery and what follows), the patient must make a pre-election. The best result that may seem obvious and natural on the one hand so that some leaves loose behind the wrinkles of the skin. I believe that most patients opt for the latter. The future of the patient must be educated so that we can make this choice … helop to manage their expectations about the outcome. Other less obvious evidence of a facelift would be the result of the poor placement of scars around the ears or a temporary alteration of hair (lock of hair in front of the ear) that it moves too high. Incision in the proper positioning of the ears and the hair is the most important part of a face, in my opinion. Hide the scars around the ear and hair and with an adequate but not excessive hardening of the skin, is for the most natural and most beautiful face results.
