Abdominoplasty is a surgical procedure which aims at greater remove the excess skin and fat from the middle and lower abdomen and to strengthen the muscles of the abdominal wall. This procedure can dramatically reduce the appearance of bulging abdomen (colloquially known as “gut”). Instead, it leaves a permanent scar which, depending on the length of the original problem and the surgery required to correct it may be more or less long.
